    NTA released a public notice on October 17, 2025, Notifying the disqualification of optional questions in section B in the JEE Main 2025 Examination.
    There will be only 5 mandatory questions instead of 10 optional questions in section B of the JEE Main 2025 exam.
    As per the official JEE Main 2025 brochure" In case of foreign candidates out of four choices of city, the candidate has to select at least one convenient city of India as their Choice of Cities from Appendix -VII for the exam Centre in order of their priority."
